Stop leaving
$1,200 a year
on the table.
cashew tells you exactly which card to use at every merchant — in real time — based on your actual wallet. No guesswork. No spreadsheets.
Three steps to a smarter wallet.
No complicated setup. No chasing points blogs. Connect your cards and cashew handles the math.
Add your credit cards — cashew reads reward structures, not transactions. Read-only access, no charges ever.
Search any merchant — or let the Chrome extension detect where you're shopping automatically. Instant answer.
cashew tells you exactly which card earns most — and by how much. In dollars, not points. Every time.
Know where your wallet is losing.
cashew scans your card portfolio for spending categories where you're consistently leaving money behind. Then it tells you exactly what card to get to fix it.
- gas stations — you're earning 1x when you could earn 4x
- streaming — 2x available but you're using a flat-rate card
- dining — optimized. Sapphire Reserve at 3x.
Your grocery spend jumped 40% this month. Amex Gold now outperforms Sapphire Reserve for this category. Swap for the next 3 weeks.
You've optimized $1,240 this year across 847 purchases. That's a free flight to Denver, or 40% of a Chicago weekend.
Citi Premier is unused for 90 days. Its 3x on hotels goes to waste every time you book on Sapphire at 3x — it's a wash. Consider dropping it.
Insight, not just answers.
cashew's intelligence layer surfaces patterns you'd never notice on your own — category trends, seasonal shifts, portfolio health. Not alerts. Context.
- detects when your spend patterns shift and re-ranks recommendations
- tracks real dollars optimized, not abstract points

Common questions.
The core product is free. cashew earns revenue when users apply for recommended cards through affiliate partnerships. We only recommend cards that increase your annual rewards. Premium is optional and adds bank sync.
No. The free tier requires only card names and last-four digits — nothing sensitive. Bank sync via Plaid is an optional Premium feature, read-only, and you can disconnect at any time.
When you visit a checkout page, the extension matches the site against cashew's merchant database and surfaces the card with the highest earn rate for that category. Everything runs locally in your browser — no browsing history or page content is transmitted to our servers. Install it here.
The Chrome extension detects checkout pages by matching the URL against our merchant database, then shows your best card. Safari extension coming soon via the cashew iOS app. You can also use the web app: search any merchant (e.g. Whole Foods, United) and see which card to use.
A gap is any spend category where your best available card earns significantly less than the market maximum. If your best gas card earns 1x but a widely available no-fee card earns 5x, that's a gap worth closing.
Safari extension support is coming soon via the cashew iOS app. Firefox is not yet available but is on our roadmap.
Recommendations are ranked by projected dollar impact, not affiliate payout. cashew may earn a referral fee if you apply and are approved — always disclosed inline. A card without an affiliate deal will still be recommended if it's the right fit.
cashew tracks issuer application rules like Chase's 5/24 rule for everyone in your household. It shows how many slots you have open, when the next card drops off, and which issuers you're eligible for — so you can time applications strategically.
Yes. cashew supports household profiles — add up to 4 people, each with their own card set, bonus tracking, eligibility status, and fee ROI analysis. Everything rolls up into one household view.
